About Claude verification
Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, may ask you to verify a phone number when you create an account, and it sends a one-time code by text message to confirm it. People use a virtual number for Claude to keep their personal mobile number separate from an AI account, to open a separate account for work projects, or to finish sign-up while they are travelling. Tips for a smooth Claude verification
